With the sale slightly subdued because of Covid restrictions there were several buyers bidding online. The sale start was slightly delayed by technical issues, but matters were soon resolved. At the end of the day there were a few buyers who were unable to purchase females within their budget. There were also a few buyers who went onto become members of the Society which was most encouraging.

Top price for the day went to D & I Walker,Laigh Alticane for a ewe at 1600 gns. To RD Livestock Ltd. Shropshire.
S & A Watson, Intock then cashed in a gimmer for 1100 gns. To Messrs Lathangie & Son Fife. D & I Walker then went onto 1000 gns. for a ewe to Messrs Mill, Cardenden, Fife This was quickly followed by another ewe from the same good pen at 1000 gns to Messrs Radford, Forest in Teesdale. Two more gimmers followed from S & A Watson, Intock fetching 1000 gns. each to Messrs Mill, Cardenden, Fife.
Messrs R N Howie & Partners, Lyham had a good pen forward making 850 gns. to Messrs Harvey, Staffordfordshire who also bought another from Lyham at 800 gns. Messrs Howie went onto receive 800 gns for another to Messrs Radford, Forest in Teesdale.
In the Ewe Hoggs, D N Whyte, Whitelee received 500 gns. for one to J Lamb,Jedburgh. Another from the same home made 400 gns. to Messrs I & W Harvey, Waterhouse.
Mrs Shona Ker had a good pen of sheep and received 400 gns. to T & V Kerr, Grantshouse, Duns.
