The annual sale at Welshpool market saw a good steady trade with the  sale champion ram by Westforth Winston from the Trinant flock selling for 1050gns  to the judge of the day Mr Mike Rowlands, Llanidloes. 

However it was his twin brother who topped the market  at 1100 gns selling to the Millend Flock and the top price ram lamb was 500gns from the Roden flock 

Shearling rams averaged £473.08 and ram lambs averaged £366.66 Top price female was the champion ewe from Mrs G Griffiths Bryngwy Flock reaching 800 gns which sold to Haydan flock closely followed by the Reserve champion from the Trinant flock at 750gns

The top price ewe lamb was again a 1st prize from the Cwm Bromley flock selling at 500gns Yearling ewes averaged £531.13 and ewe lambs £444.50.

There were 51 sold out of the 58 forward.
